Technology Industry Outsourcing
Repair, troubleshooting and phone support
Preferred Depot is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated technical support professional with strong technical abilities to join its growing team. The ideal candidate would have a great attitude with a dynamic skill set that is willing to help with all aspects of product demonstration and installation, call center responsibilities and infrastructure, including management of call center personnel.

Responsibilities
​

Oversee technical support and call center initiatives for client products in a variety of industries ranging from consumer electronics to professional medical equipment and packaging machinery
-
Coordinate machine transportation, installations, and repairs for various client
-
Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization
-
Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
-
Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
-
Produce timely and detailed service reports
-
Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to the final resolution

Desired skills & Experience

Technical troubleshooting ability

Familiarity with measurement tools (DVM, oscilloscope, power meter, etc.)

Exhibits initiative and advanced customer service skills

Diligence and commitment to following through and resolving problems

A proven team player who proactively assists other team members
-
Overall high level knowledge of web based technologies
-
Desktop and network support experience preferred
-
AA degree or higher required
